🪔 Indian Culture & Human Values
The Indian Culture & Human Values Preservation & Promotion Committee of Dr. S. C. Gulhane Prerna College of Commerce, Science, and Arts is constituted to preserve, promote, and propagate the rich heritage of Indian culture, traditions, ethics, and human values among students and staff. The Committee aims to inculcate values such as integrity, respect, tolerance, social harmony, patriotism, and ethical living, in alignment with UGC, NAAC guidelines and NEP 2020. The Committee plays a vital role in nurturing culturally rooted, socially responsible, and value-oriented citizens.
Objectives
- ✦To preserve and promote Indian culture, traditions, and heritage
- ✦To inculcate ethical values and moral responsibility among students
- ✦To promote national integration, unity, and social harmony
- ✦To create awareness about constitutional values and duties
- ✦To encourage respect for diversity, pluralism, and human dignity
Functions of the Committee
- ✦Plan and organize programs related to Indian culture and human values
- ✦Promote ethical practices, discipline, and value-based education
- ✦Encourage celebration of national and cultural festivals
- ✦Organize lectures, workshops, and discussions on values and ethics
- ✦Collaborate with NSS, Cultural Committee, and other cells
