Internal Examinations — CIE
The college adopts various methods for the internal evaluation of theory and practical subjects to assess students' different abilities, which are not evaluated in the Semester-End Examinations (SEE).
The performance of students is evaluated continuously by the concerned faculty member. The method is decided based on expected Program-Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and students are informed well in advance.
Answer papers of unit tests and pre-semester examinations are shown to students; any doubts about marks are clarified by the concerned teacher after thorough discussion.
If a student misses an internal examination due to sports, NCC, NSS, or cultural activities, the college allows resubmission.
CIE Methods
Timetable Communication
Unit test and pre-semester exam timetables are communicated to students well in advance through classroom notices and the notice board.
Faculty Freedom
The college gives full freedom to teachers for the formative evaluation of students throughout the semester, ensuring flexible and outcome-based assessment.
Resubmission Policy
Students who miss internal exams due to sports, NCC, NSS, or cultural activities are allowed to resubmit, ensuring no student is disadvantaged.
External Examinations
All external examinations are conducted as per RTM Nagpur University notifications and guidelines.
